The Water Of Life

Author: Jon R

I am a long-time whiskey drinker. My drinks journey began drinking San Miguel beers and other local offerings in the Philippines (Ginebra, Empi, Tanduay, Lambanog anyone?). I moved to Singapore 12 years ago and got my first taste of whiskey there. Cocktails first, then high-balls, until I learnt to enjoy them neat. I then lived in London where I frequented Milroy's of Soho. There I sampled whiskies from all over and began my informal education on whiskey. Now, I live in Dublin and immersed myself in Irish whiskey but always kept an eye out for exciting brands from everywhere.
